AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori has revealed why he rejected a move to Tottenham Hotspur during the January transfer window.

Tomori was one of Spurs’ options when they were looking for a new centre-back in the January transfer window but has no interest in a return to London after previously playing for Chelsea.

The 27-year-old defender has said of the approach from Spurs during the transfer window: “I never planned to leave AC Milan, that’s clear สมัครสมาชิก UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีทุกวัน and simple.”

“I am happy at this club and as long as they want me, I want to stay,”

“I’ve always said I feel at home here, and nothing has changed,” argued Tomori.

“I know there are clubs and people who talk during every transfer window, but I was and still am focus on what I must do: stay here. It is an honour and a pleasure to wear this jersey. I never felt the need or desire to leave. As long as they want me, I’ll stay here.”

For Tomori, who was loaned out to Chelsea for four rounds, he moved permanently to Milan in 2021 and has become another key player for the team, making 167 appearances in all competitions, helping the team win a Serie A title.
